Dr. Nicola Malavasi

Brief Bio:

Nicola Malavasi is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow in Esra Bulbul’s group at MPE. His research interests are the study of galaxy clusters, groups, and super-clusters and their interplay with the filaments of the cosmic web and of galaxy evolution in relation to the environment. Before joining MPE, he worked as a postdoc at the University Observatory Munich (USM-LMU). Even before, he was a postdoc at the Institut d’Astrophysique Spatiale (IAS-Orsay) in France and at Purdue University in Indiana (USA). Nicola obtained his Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Bologna.
