Brief Bio:
I am an Astrophysics Ph.D. student at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics (MPE) under the supervision of Dr. Bulbul and Prof. Nandra. Before coming to MPE, I studied at Sabancı University in Istanbul, Turkey, and received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees there. During my Bachelor's studies, I was also at Durham University as an Erasmus+ scholar for a summer research internship.
I work on understanding the evolution, interaction, and physics of hot multiphase gas in the astrophysical and cosmological context hosted by galaxy clusters and groups.
In my everyday life, I analyze X-ray observations of the clusters and groups detected by eROSITA. Besides working on my Ph.D. research, I actively participate and take key roles in collaborative scientific activities within the eROSITA consortium and at MPE as well.
